Meet the women on a mission

-

MEET the 30-year-old woman who had to undergo a radical hysterectomy after battling the medical fraternity for years over the pain she suffered due to her endometriosis.

In this edition of Weekend, in tomorrow’s The Chronicle, artist Mab Graves is on a mission to make sure another woman does not go through what she went through due to her illness. And she wants more people to understand the condition that affects an estimated 550,000 Australian women.

Also in this Weekend, she is a social media star with 495,000 Instagram followers and is another clever businesswoman who has turned her own battle with food “sensitivities” into a successful app and now a cookbook.

Meet Taline Gabrielian, 36, who created Hippie Lane after she built a successful social media following.

The Instagram mum shares the story of her journey to health and social media stardom.

Weekend also discovers gems in the Byron hinterland and the Whitsundays is open for business following Cyclone Debbie.

All this, and more, is in this edition of Weekend in tomorrow’s The Chronicle.
