49 titles are up for auction

HERE’S an opportunity to purchase an aggregation of three properties at Kilkivan, on 49 titles, totalling 3916 ha (9677 acres).

These properties are close to Kilkivan, and about 220km north-east from the Brisbane Airport and 130km from the Sunshine Coast.

The properties are also close to Fraser Island and Gympie. The properties present a great opportunity for tourism and/or a large-scale livestock operation.

Although these properties have been cleared and planted to pasture, they are ex-plantation and still require some work in regards to water points.

There is still developmental potential in the pastures. There are also areas of black soil flats that are suitable for cropping and irrigation.

Each property has a set of old cattle yards, as well as dams, waterholes and numerous bore holes to equip. The fencing is primarily four-barbed, ironbark posts.

This aggregation is close to local feedlots and also within an hour’s drive to saleyards.

Wongella’s homestead has recently been renovated to include new plumbing, new kitchen, bathroom and

laundry.

While the properties are being marketed as one – vendors are open to offers prior to sale by auction.

The auction will be held on May 17 at 10am at the Gympie RSL.
