Getting around is easy with free shuttle buses

-

ONE of the biggest challenges facing people attending Queensland’s largest field days is how do you get around the 15-hectare site in one day?

Once again, CRT FarmFest will be operating a free shuttle bus service for visitors over all three days of the event.

Shuttle buses will navigate across the northern and southern car parks to take people from their car to the Honda branded ticket boxes for entry onto the display site, with gates open from 9am daily.

Shuttle buses will then travel around the site from 10am to 3pm.

This service will be available to all, with a focus on older visitors and those with a genuine need.

If waiting for the shuttle doesn’t suit and you’d like to be a little more independent but are finding it difficult to get around, there are a limited number of hire mobility scooters available for this year's event.

Riverina Scooters and Mobility on stand Q/37 will again provide a mobility scooter service to help cover the 15km of roadways.

However, the number of scooters is strictly limited, with preference given to pensioners and people with disabilities and in genuine need.

For more information and bookings, call Riverina Scooters on 0428 694 335.

For more information about the shuttle bus service during the field days, contact the headquarters, Fairfax Rural Events on 07 4630 0444.
