3. The Birthday Party for Play School

WHERE: Cobb and Co Museum
BIG Ted, Little Ted, Humpty and Jemima are getting ready for a birthday party at Cobb and Co Museum to celebrate 50 years of the much-loved Australian television program Play School.
Alex Papps, who has been a presenter on Play School since 2005, will be there to join in the family-friendly fun of face painting, storytelling, craft activities, party games and a hat parade.
Cobb and Co Museum is also hosting the exhibition Happy Birthday Play School: Celebrating 50 years.
4. Open gardens WHEN: Today and tomorrow, 9am to 5pm
WHERE: Hampton area
GARDENS of the Downs will open three beautiful gardens in the Hampton area.
The gardens that will open belong to James and Barbara McGeogh at 507 Ravensbourne Dip Rd via Tessman Rd, Hampton, Trish and Adrian Allan at Deeth Rd, Crows Nest and Glennys and Col Seccombe at Palmtree Rd, Hampton.
Entry is $5 per garden Tickets are available at each garden, with proceeds going to the Royal Flying Doctor Service.
