Xbox Game Pass, a new digital gaming subscription service that gives you unlimited access to more than 100 Xbox One and backward compatible Xbox 360 games will be available in Australia from June 1.

From last week, all Xbox Live Gold members were given exclusive early access to Xbox Game Pass, and were able to start their 14-day free trial before anyone else.

Subscriptions will be available for purchase online at xbox.com/game-pass, with a retail offering expected later this year.

Blockbusters offerings include Halo 5: Guardians, NBA 2K16 and Payday 2; LEGO Batman, Banjo-Kazooie and Viva Pinata; Mega Man Legacy Collection, Streets of Rage and Pac-Man Championship Edition DX. There are also great first-person and third-person shooter games, including all three titles in the BioShock franchise, Gears of War 1-3, Gears Ultimate, Perfect Dark Zero, Borderlands and more.

Members can also explore classic Xbox hits and community favorites like Saints Row IV: Re-Elected, The Golf Club, Terraria, Resident Evil 0, XCOM: Enemy Within, Mad Max and Knight Squad.

Each month, Xbox’s team will add a new set of games to the catalogue so there is always something new to play. Pricing in Australia is $10.95 a month.

Members also can buy all games and add-ons – at an exclusive discount.
