We stand with London at this time

IT IS a scary world when you wake up to yet another terrifying attack and wonder if this is what we should expect as a regular occurrence.

Seven people were killed and at least 48 injured after three terrorists mowed down pedestrians on London Bridge on Saturday night (local time).

The horror continued when the vehicle continued to drive to the nearby Borough Market, where the suspects then went on a stabbing spree.

Police shot and killed the three men during the incident.

It is the third terror attack in the UK in just over two months.

It was a relief to find out a friend of mine was safe after the ordeal, but others have not been so lucky.

There is no possible way this was not a deliberate attack on innocent people, those out enjoying a few drinks on a Saturday night.

The frightening thing is that these cowardly terrorists have figured out a way to cause major chaos in a way that is difficult to stop them.

Mowing down innocent people who had no idea what was about to occur and then going after people with knives is the stuff of nightmares.

But in the darkness comes the light. The people of London will not let this latest terror event crush them.

Amazing people have already begun helping each other and it is because of these acts of human kindness, we will endure.
