RACE ONE: The punters were keen to back a few runners here. Bold Crusader was easy to lay at $4.80. There was good money for Longing For at $4.20. The winner had supporters at $3.20. The bookies started off with a small win.

RACE TWO: A poor betting race, with not a lot of interest on track. The bookies were keen to lay Burning Mountain at $3 and there were not a lot of takers. The winner Boomi Dazzler was backed heavily off course and saw the fixed odds go from $26 into $15.

RACE THREE: The punters only wanted one horse here and that was Free Billy. The $3.60 went off quick and then the phone money came at $3.20, with one bet of $1000. Leprechaun Lad was backed each-way at $14. The winner Benico's Prince was laid small over the phone at $10.

RACE FOUR: The punters only wanted Red Geranium. The phone money went on at $2.10, with one bet of $2000. There was follow up cash on track at $2. Moss Princess was backed each-way at $6.50. The winner In Kobe was hard to lay on track and the bookies were $3.80 at jump time.

RACE FIVE: The on-track punters were treated to $1.60 for the winner Choix De Roses. There was small cash for the winner and no other runner saw any real money.

RACE SIX: The phone money came quick for Cash N Run with one bet of $2000 at $2.60. Then late the money came on track for Soltinho Lad, with one bet of $1500 at $4.40. The winner Red Hot Secret had no real support and the bookies cheered home Nozi. RACE SEVEN: There was specking for Rosie's Tiara at $4. The punters on track took the $1.70 for Make No Mistake and when they hit the straight the bookies were counting out the money. Overall the bookies went home winners.
