TRL: A massive upset looked on the cards early but Dalby responded to keep its Hutchinson Builders TRL Premiership unbeaten run intact.

Taking on the 10th-placed Bears, who have just one win the past two seasons, Dalby was under pressure as Oakey held a 10-0 lead after the 13 minute.

Dalby was without three key players in Jason Wardrop, Steve Franciscus and Corey Blades but responded to the early challenge and posted a 32-20 win over Oakey on Sunday.

The Diehards scored three tries to close out the first half to hold a 16-10 advantage at half-time.

They then closed out the win to keep their perfect record this season and stay top of the table.

Meanwhile, Braydon Wilson ran in an incredible five tries as Wattles handed Goondiwindi an 80-6 drubbing at Platz Oval.

Wilson was in fine finishing form as the Warriors maintained their spot in the top six, with Josh Lucas scoring three tries.

“I wasn’t concerned about the for an against, I was more concerned about the two fixture points,” Wattles coach Gary Lawrence said.

Gatton also had a massive 74-6 win over Brothers at Glenholme Park.

Outside backs Tye Gray and Josh Belz each scored three tries for the Hawks in the massive victory, which puts Gatton back in the top six.
