Joyce Mayne offers three times product range with new megastore

Customers enjoy new lifestyle megastore after Joyce Mayne unveils expansion

RESIDENTS know and love the Joyce Mayne Toowoomba store on Ruthven St, however now have even more reason to shop at the newly transformed space.

Following extensive renovations, the store has been expanded into the adjoining store space, with a multi-million-dollar fit out now establishing Joyce Mayne Toowoomba as the ultimate lifestyle store.

Joyce Mayne Toowoomba proprietor Wayne Peters said the expansion offered customers a buying range of up to three times the products and brands previously stocked.

“We have really taken Joyce Mayne to that next level — it is now a higher end lifestyle store but we have kept our exceptional pricing that our customers love,” Mr Peters said.

“As we are part of the Harvey Norman buying group that gives us the power to get the best price on the market.”

The recent rebranding of Joyce Mayne Toowoomba to establish it as the premium lifestyle store on the Downs has coincided with the store aligning themselves with the leading electronics brands on the market.

With brands such as Dyson, Smeg, LG, Miele, Bosch, Fisher and Paykel, Breville, Samsung and more, it is easy to see why the new range of choice is drawing strong customer support.

Mr Peters said the modern consumer wants a more chic interior, and that is being driven by a popularity in soundbars, wireless entertainments systems and home connectivity.

“The market now is huge in soundbars — slimline, one-speaker models which add to a customer’s décor,” Mr Peters said.

“Gone are the days of bulky, unsightly home sound systems.

“We’ve had a lot of customer feedback that it’s a great shop with lots of choice in products, and a massive store in size.”

With not many lifestyle megastores in Toowoomba or the Downs like it, Joyce Mayne is pioneering the way to deliver a great consumer experience through shopping with a more lifestyle feel.

Mr Peters said the strength of the Joyce Mayne name lies in its alignment with retail giant Harvey Norman

“Harvey Norman buying power gives us great discounts, and that is something we are proud to pass on to customers,” Mr Peters said.

“Passing along the amazing savings we can attain helps us build up a loyal customer base — I am a proud born and bred local and at Joyce Mayne we want to help build the town.”

An avid believer in excellent customer service, Mr Peters said he was enjoying chatting to customers as they came in for the first time to check out the new megastore, as well as returning customers coming in to view the new range of products and see the extensive expansions.

“I want customers to let me know their thoughts — good, bad — all feedback is useful for me,” he said.

“Retail is about customer service, and a lot of people talk about good customer service, but not many are willing to listen to feedback and make their service better.

“Here at Joyce Mayne we implement it, and we pride ourselves on excellent customer service.”
