BOOK lovers will be pleased to know another book store is opening in Toowoomba.

Dymocks will celebrate the opening of its new store at Grand Central on Monday.

The Toowoomba store is the first to open in a new location in Queensland in three years.

It is also comes three years after Dymocks closed in Toowoomba, operating at the former Garden Town Shopping Centre.

Franchise owner Janelle Fyson has a passion for book selling, with more than 10 years of experience in the industry.

“I read so many different books, across non-fiction and fiction,” she said.

“I love being able to recommend books to people and see their faces light up when they come back and tell you they loved it.”

Designed for the 21st century, the space has been transformed into a luxury retail store, with sleek bookshelves, a modern light-filled interior and an extensive range of books, designer stationery and office and lifestyle accessories.

Ms Fyson said she was delighted with the contemporary look of the new store.

“The store looks fantastic and will become a destination zone for Toowoomba book lovers,” she said.

“It’s designed as a vibrant, welcoming space for customers to mingle and browse the shelves.”

With hundreds of titles on sale during June and a special three for $33 offer on popular Penguin titles, there is something for everyone.

Ms Fyson said the future of book selling in Australia was positive and she looked forward to welcoming a new generation of customers to the store.
