- — Travis Meyn

JARROD Wallace will start in the front row for Queensland in his State of Origin debut after Maroons coach Kevin Walters finalised his team for game two.

The Titans prop will replace axed veteran Nate Myles as Dylan Napa’s starting partner in a revamped Maroons side that runs on to ANZ Stadium on Wednesday.

Darius Boyd will play centre for the first time in his Origin career.

Cowboys talisman Gavin Cooper will start in his second appearance for the Maroons, forming his club combination with Johnathan Thurston on the left side.

Josh Papalii will revert back to the bench to give the interchange some experience alongside debutants Coen Hess, Tim Glasby and utility Michael Morgan.

The Maroons held their first full training session on the Gold Coast yesterday morning.

The return of Billy Slater at fullback and the debut of Test winger Valentine Holmes has mixed up the Maroons backline, forcing Boyd to centre in his 28th Origin.

Storm utility Cameron Munster will be 18th man and Broncos duo Ben Hunt and Andrew McCullough have joined Camp Maroon to train with the side.
