Toowoomba’s newest food store names location
A WHOLE new food shopping experience is getting closer to opening in Toowoomba.
The Source Bulk Foods announced earlier this year it had plans to open a store in Toowoomba.
The store, which is the biggest specialised bulk food retailer in Australia, announced its location would be in the city’s CBD, opposite The Spotted Cow.
“The Source Bulk Foods Toowoomba is excited to finally announce that we will be located at 292 Ruthven St,” a Facebook announcement said.
“Building works are well under way.
“We are hoping that if the building works go well then we will be ready for opening in about eight weeks.
“We are excited we can now officially get our hands dirty with fit out.”
The Source Bulk Foods is a place where you can buy wholefoods, health foods and superfoods in bulk with more than 30 zero-waste bulk food stores around Australia.
Toowoomba residents are excited about the upcoming opening with many commenting that they will be shopping at the store.
“So looking forward to this shop opening here. I love the one in Caloundra,” Jenny Simmerle said on Facebook.
Jodie Garrett said “Yay about time”, Christine Kelly said ‘I’ve been waiting for this to get here finally”, Joanna Bishop said “This looks awesome” and Mikaela Chauntler said “This makes me happy”.
There are stores in Brisbane, Cairns, Sunshine Coast, Gold Coast, Springfield and Townsville.
