Marilyn to help women get top wardrobe style
FUNDRAISING underpins the fabric of society; whether it is for medical research, the flying doctor, lifesaving or the school library, it is vital to the community.
Many volunteers undertake the responsibility of raising funds for charity.
One of those volunteers is Australian fashion designer Liz Daveport, who collaborates with organisations like Zonta and Rotary to raise funds and awareness for their cause.
Her Queensland lead stylist Marilyn Little, a fashion and fundraising professional with more than 30 years experience partnering with service clubs, charities, churches, foundations and field days to raise funds for great local causes, will be in Toowoomba this week, running a workshop called Teach Your Wardrobe Who’s Boss for the Toowoomba Day View Club.
While tickets are no
longer available for the lunch today, she will stay in Toowoomba for a few extra days to offer styling sessions to those who missed out on her workshop with the Toowoomba Day View Club.
She will be at Central Plaza tomorrow and Thursday from 9.30am to 6pm.
Ms Little said during those styling sessions, which are complimentary for those who wish to attend, she would consider factors such as lifestyle, personality, hair colour, skin tone and figure shape when giving advice.
The current Liz Davenport collection will also be on display at Central Plaza.
You can book a session by calling Ms Little on 0407 830 565 or Donna on 0406 526 156.
