130 quality charolais and charbray bulls offered this month

-

All studs have similar ethos and the quality of all bulls on offer will be to the same exacting standards of previous years.

FOLLOWING last year’s sale success, Kilkenny Charolais and Emjay Charbray have decided to offer more bulls to try to satisfy the seemingly insatiable demand by commercial cattlemen for quality charolais and charbray genetics in southern and western Queensland.

They have invited Barambah-Dale Charolais and Wellcamp to enter bulls in this year’s sale.

Both invited vendors are no newcomers, being well known in the industry and having sold together with Kilkenny in years gone by.

There will be 130 charolais and charbray bulls to be offered at the Woolooga Saleyards on July 28, 2017.

All studs have a similar ethos and the quality of all bulls on offer will be to the same exacting standards of previous years.

All are long-term breeders with combined experience in the stud business exceeding 100 years and about 1000 stud breeders between them.

Their commitment to producing quality seed stock for all commercial markets is evidenced by their recent cattle competition successes. Among the highlights are: Champion pen of six steers at the Ekka sired by Kilkenny Charolais bulls;

Champion carcass in pen of three pasture fed or grain fed steers at the Ekka sired by a Barambah-Dale bull;

Champion pasture fed exhibit at the Gympie Show sired by an Emjay bull; and

Champion grain fed and Supreme Champion at the Gympie Show sired by a Kilkenny bull.

Free transport (T&Cs apply) is offered to the saleyards at Toogoolawah, Roma, Blackall, Taroom, Gracemere, Eidsvold, Biggenden, Kingaroy, Murgon and Gympie.

Clearing to tick free country will be arranged.

Head along and have a free lunch on the vendors and see for yourself the quality of the bulls on offer by these four leading studs.
