PURE Hair has been named the best hairdresser in Toowoomba for a second year in a row.

Almost 1000 people shared their favourite hairdressers when the The Chronicle put out the call on Facebook on Sunday night.

Pure Hair received an overwhelming amount of votes with about 300 people sharing their love for the salon.

Owner Taryn Hunter has two salons at the Ridge Shoppingworld and Westridge Shopping Centre.

The first opened six years ago and since then, it has gone from strength to strength, with clientele growing.

Manager Michelle Riley said she was so proud to work at Pure Hair.

“To receive so much support is completely overwhelming,” she said.

“I feel so proud and to be named number one two years in a row is amazing.

“The talent we have at both salons is ridiculous. I have never worked with a more talented team of hairdressers in my life.

“Each girl has their own special talent and with all our training we can cater to anyone.”

Ms Hunter is overseas at the moment and was unable to comment but Ms Riley said she knew her boss was passionate about the hairdressing industry.

“What makes us so strong is our passion,” she said.

“Each of us loves the industry we work in and believe in making sure people leave happy every time they visit.”
