This label conjures up sun-drenched days, even when it’s cold outside
EVEN carefree children of the sun feel the cold, and when they do it’s labels like Cabo Gypsy they turn to.
Owner Sharon Fletcher set out to design her own fashion and home decor label based around a love for endless summers and island getaways.
In her winter collections, you will still find styles inspired by tropical destinations to help sate your craving for warmer weather, sunshine and happy days by the sea.
“The latest collection, PRISM, is inspired by hues found from our earth, taking colours from nature including sea-foam blue, spice market red and foliage green,” Sharon says.
“Like a prism, the collection comes together as an intersection of all the elements.
“The collection has something for everyone, whether that be bold animal print dresses, tie-dye styles, bohemian inspired graphic tees or even a luxurious camel leather jacket.”
Being a true Queenslander, Sharon tends to dig in her sandal-wrapped heels when it comes to succumbing to dull winter fashion but she manages to keep it extra lively when the cold wins.
“I’m always chasing the endless summer, I do not usually love winter styles,” she says.
“It seems every time winter comes around, everyone is dressed in darker plain colours.
“I love bright, vibrant colours and bold prints, hence my collection focusing around vibrant blue, red and tie-dye hues.
“That said, I love layering, something the bohemian look allows for, whether that be a lush leather jacket or a big, oversized furry coat.
“I love a lot of the Instagram influencer’s winter styles, such as model Mimi Elashiry and the Spell Design’s owners, Isabella and Elizabeth. I also adore actress Isabelle Lucas’ look.”
