Business owner says store is haunted
A LITTLE girl has been touched on the shoulder, trolleys move on their own and bells on the doors jingle.
CCTV footage of a Toowoomba hairdressing salon has been posted on the Toowoomba Ghost Chasers Facebook page.
The business owner wished to remain anonymous, to avoid unwanted attention to her salon.
She said the video showed a little girl turning around in shock after something touched her.
“The little girl got touched by what she said felt like a hand on her shoulder,” she said.
“That wasn’t too shocking to me because since I’ve owned the salon the bells on the back of my door ring randomly without any wind or anyone walking past.”
Another video shows her trolley moving with no one touching it.
“A couple of weeks after my trolley moved on its own while a customer was having her colour processed,” she said.
“It didn’t scare me as I believe it’s a friendly ghost. I have also had things happen to me in the past with ghosts so I think if your open to these type of things then they happen.
“I believe that some people have the ability to contact the dead and see things where other people do not.”
Toowoomba Ghost Chasers’ founder Kylie Samuels visited the business last week and said although the footage she re-recorded on her phone was shaky, she said there was no doubt the trolley moved on its own.
“The two videos were filmed with my phone off the business’ camera so they are a bit shaky sorry,” she said.
“I have cut the footage down in size to post but I did view the whole tape and the trolley sat there for a long time without moving.
“It then moves as though being pushed by something. The doors were shut, there was no breeze.”
