Broadway’s best at Empire

AFTER almost 20 years of producing high quality musical theatre, the Empire Theatre is taking the chance to revisit some of the biggest and best numbers to have been performed on stage.

The next Beauaraba Living Daytime Series performance, Broadway Favourites, is back by popular demand after it’s 2016 debut.

Broadway Favourites features local talent and former stars of Empire Theatre’s musicals and is an event not to be missed.

It will be an afternoon of hits and nostalgia with performances by popular local artists Brendon Walmsley, Cherie Vera, Justin Tamblyn, Shannon Gralow, Lisa Skerman and Louise Fraser.

Directed by the highly accomplished director behind many Empire Theatre productions, Alison Vallette, Broadway Favourites includes selections from Beauty and the Beast, Cats, Mary Poppins, The Boy From Oz, The Phantom of the Opera, Wicked and many more.

The Beauaraba Living Daytime Series continues October 8 with Queensland Pops Orchestra with special guest Teddy Tahu-Rhodes, closely followed by the second Back to the Tivoli performance of the year on October 12.

Broadway Favourites takes to the stage on Sunday, August 20 at 3pm.
