1. Helidon Heritage Fair

WHEN: Tomorrow, 9am to 3pm

WHERE: Helidon Cricket Grounds, corner of Arthur St and George St

THERE is something for everyone at the Helidon Heritage Fair.

Drive down the hill for a day of fun including a billy cart derby, tug-of-war, a pie eating competitio­n, a spud peeling competitio­n, entertainm­ent, food and displays.

2. Suitcase Jumble and Craft Destash

WHEN: Today, 9am to 2pm WHERE: St Luke’s Church 152 Herries St

PREPARE for spring and clean out your cupboards.

This event will feature antiques, vintage and retro wares, pre loved, arts and craft supplies, handmade or end of line items.

3. Crave Food Festival

WHEN: Today, 5.30pm-8.30pm

WHERE: Mary MacKillop Primary, 75 Highfields Rd, Highfields

CRAVE Food Festival is an open to the public, family friendly, gourmet food event held on the second Saturday evening of every month, hosted by the Mary MacKillop Catholic College Parents and Friends Associatio­n.

4. Bonsai demonstrat­ion

WHEN: Today, 9.30am to 4.30pm WHERE: City Golf Club

TOOWOOMBA Bonsai Group is celebratin­g its 40th anniversar­y celebratio­n by hosting internatio­nally-recognised bonsai artist Boon Manakitivi­part for an exciting day of bonsai.

The event will involve several demonstrat­ions around the theme of From Big Things Little Things Grow. Tickets $40 at the door. Call 0410 944 685.

5. Heroes and Villains Fun Run/Walk

WHEN: Tomorrow, 8am to 11am

WHERE: Toowoomba Anglican College and Preparator­y School

FOR the second year in a row, the Toowoomba Hospital Foundation is calling upon families to dress as their favourite superhero or villain for the Heroes and Villains.

It’s an event for every fitness level, families, friends and colleagues, funds raised from the day go towards the Toowoomba Hospital’s Orthopaedi­c Department.

Entry is $10 or $20 for the whole family and registrati­ons

open 8am. The walk starts at 9am.

6. Toowoomba Farmers’ Market

WHEN: Today, 8am to 2pm WHERE: Walton Stores carpark, Annand St

TOOWOOMBA’S only genuine farmers’ market is back.

You can select seasonal food, meet local growers, enjoy a coffee with friends and immerse yourself in all things urban and slow food.

7. Airbrush Workshop

WHEN: Today and tomorrow, 9am to 4pm

WHERE: Cobb and Co Museum LEARN the basics of

airbrushin­g including the proper use of tools and a range of different techniques.

You will create a night scene canvas and a black and white subject portrait.

8. Supermen

WHEN: Today, 10am to 11am WHERE: Toowoomba City Library

SUPERMEN is a special time for male caregivers, whether it’s dads, granddads, brothers or uncles, to engage in their children’s learning through rhymes, songs, simple stories and movement.

This group is best suited for babies to five-year-olds.

9. Toowoomba’s Tiny Tots and Me Market

WHEN: Tomorrow from 9am WHERE: Centenary Heights High School Assembly Hall

THE market will have a mix of pre-loved and new baby, kids and maternity items with the aim of easing the purchase of items to just one place. Help reduce waste by purchasing pre-loved items, then shop around for something special and new for the little bundle of joy.

10. Wilsonton skateboard­ing workshop

WHEN: Tomorrow, 2pm-4pm WHERE: Wilsonton Heights Skate Park, Port St

COME along to a free skating workshop. All levels are catered for from beginner to advanced.

You don’t need a skateboard to attend, we have some spares available.

Make new friends, get connected, learn new skills and have fun.
