WHILE no one was looking, a unique burger concept opened in the CBD and to celebrate it offered $5 burgers yesterday.

Hospitality business David Peters Group launched St Burger last year as part of the Shingle Inn franchise and have now introduced it in Toowoomba.

Located inside the Shingle Inn at 428 Ruthven St, St Burger offers up handmade artisan burgers.

The menu was developed to create an easy-to-prepare range of burgers that appeal to a broad range of tastes.

On Wednesday St Burger announced it would be

holding its first Burger Bonanza to celebrate its launch in Toowoomba.

People were lining up from 11am yesterday to grab a saint burger with cheese, a grilled clucker and saint fungi for $5.

Shingle Inn team member Amanda Llyod said they had been offering the burgers for a few weeks but just as a trial until they were ready to officially launch.

“They are so delicious and so far everyone loves them,” she said.

“We’re excited to let everyone know about them and it’d be great if people came down and tried the burgers for themselves.”

St Burger offers a $15 burger, chips and beer deal daily.
