FARM machinery specialists Challenge Implements have returned to Queensland, taking a two-year lease with options on a well-appointed industrial property fronting Carrington Rd.

Challenge Implements previously operated from Brisbane but decided Toowoomba’s wave of infrastructure additions and position as the gateway to the Downs, western Queensland and New England’s agricultural production would optimise operational efficiencies.

LJ Hooker Commercial Toowoomba leasing agent Scott Playle secured the lease of the 4667sq m block.

“It’s an address of significant size and the outdoor display area, offering more than 50m to Carrington Rd, is a perfect fit for a machinery specialist such as Challenge Implements,” Mr Playle said.

“The address has multiple sheds and wash-bays on the hard-stand area.

“Challenge Implements’ decision to base themselves in Toowoomba speaks volumes about where the city is heading and its prominent role as a hub for the state’s south-west.

“The site is positioned on an approved train route, offering excellent access for prospective customers.” The property holds a Medium Impact Zoning.

Among a suite of features, the property includes a 567sq m workshop with 162sq m skillion.

The main shed also includes a five-tonne gantry crane, high clearance electric roller doors and three-phase power.

The main shed is supported by a 135sq m shed and an updated 81sq m office building boasting a 48sq m veranda. For further information on industrial leasing opportunities, contact Mr Playle at LJ Hooker Commercial on 0417 779 434.
