Awards will recognise city’s business excellence

APPLICATIONS for the Heritage Bank Business Excellence Awards are now open.

Businesses have until September 14 to lodge their application with the Toowoomba Chamber of Commerce. The awards are a celebration of our business community’s contribution to Toowoomba’s economic vitality and social fabric. Celebrating the diversity, innovation and excellence of the region’s businesses, the award process is an annual keynote event for the Toowoomba business community.

The Heritage Bank Business Excellence Awards recognises the leaders, innovators and heart of our community - our businesses. The awards are an occasion for owners, managers and staff to critically assess business performance, celebrate successes and reflect on strategies for the future. The awards also provide an excellent opportunity to benchmark your business against others in similar industries.

There are nine award categories including Best Regional Business. The prestigious Heritage Bank Business of the Year Award is selected from the winners of each category. Three workshops are scheduled during August and September to assist in profiling individual businesses and help them get the most out of the awards program.

Category finalists and winners will be recognised at the Heritage Bank Business Excellence Awards Gala Dinner to be held at the Empire Theatre on October 14. If you are proud of what your business has achieved, or if you know of a business that you think deserves to be recognised, apply now and consider joining us at the dinner where we turn the spotlight on Toowoomba businesses and celebrate excellence in our community of commerce.
