Whether it be comic books, fantasy, fables or any other book, we all love to escape into different worlds. — Anita Baills

said whether you were big or small everyone loved a good story.

“Whether it be comic books, fantasy, fables or any other book, we all love to escape into different worlds through the power of a good story,” she said.

“We believe each of our stallholders has their own special story to tell through their products and we will have on display a wide array of all things weird, wonderful and geeky.”

Stallholders from across the region and other parts of south-east Queensland will be offering their goodies.

Many of the stallholders are regulars at major pop-culture conventions across the state such as Nature’s Forge and Fractured Lace.

There will be wands, bohemian crystal crowns, wearable dragon horns, geek jewellery, storm trooper cookie cutters and even cosplay outfits for your pampered pooch.

The festival will give the community a chance to meet well known celebrities and artists working in the comic industry, television and the cosplay circuit.

It is a free event and attendees are encouraged to dress up.
