■ Outdoor Cinema

Dates: Every Saturday and Sunday during September Location: Central Square

Toowoomba residents are invited to visit the outdoor cinema at Central Square, which will be screening movies perfect for family nights or date nights.

■ Digital runway

Date: From September 1

Location: Ground floor, retail galleria

Visitors will be able to immerse themselves in the latest spring fashion trends from internatio­nal runways by viewing Grand Central’s two metre high digital runway.

■ GIGS @ GC

Dates: Every Friday, Saturday and Sunday throughout September and October

Locations: Food court level two, dining quarter, restaurant precinct and outside both Jamaica Blue stores on ground level and one

Grand Central is bringing back Gigs@GC in various locations throughout the centre to showcase the incredible talent Toowoomba has to offer through regular in-centre performanc­es.

■ Inspiring art

Dates: From Wednesday, September 6

Location: Retail galleria and food court

Paperform, led by Benja Harney, has created a stunning in-centre display to capture the hearts and imaginatio­ns of visitors.

■ Food sampling

Dates: Throughout September and October

Pop-up food sampling will be taking place near the Market Room and Woolworths on level one.

■ Grand Central Floral Parade

Date: Saturday, September 16 at 3pm

The Grand Central Floral Parade will feature hundreds of vibrant and colourful floats. As it has since 1996, Grand Central’s float will lead the parade.

■ Spring Polo

Date: Saturday, September 23

Location: Queens Park

This year Grand Central is sponsoring fashions of the field at the Spring Polo event, which is part of Toowoomba’s 2017 Carnival of Flowers.

■ Sensory Garden

Date: Throughout September and October

Location: Centre court

Grand Central will have its very own in-centre sensory garden for the duration of the Spring Festival. With fidget spinner poles, succulent gardens, a music wall, bean bag seating and a sensory spinning drum, there’s something for visitors of all ages.
