It’s time to learn some cold, hard beauty truths

TIPS TO REACHING YOUR BEAUTY PINNACLE

-

Oh yes.

There’s some things we love to hear about ourselves, and there are some things we really don’t — and some of them have to do with our beauty regimes.

They can be tough, tedious and expensive, but nevertheless, if you find a great one, they’re absolutely worth it.

Here are some of the cold, hard beauty truths that we need to know and understand.

1. SKINCARE IS EVERYWHERE.

Are you jotting this down, friends?

Your skincare regime applies to part of skin.

Don’t just lather your lovely little cheeks with moisturiser — your decolletage and neck can’t miss out.

Keep up your sunscreen and treat your fabulous skin like it deserves, all over!

2. HIGHLIGHTER IS YOUR SMOKING GUN.

For those nights where you saw the sun rise over the hills, be prepared to whip your highlighter out of your back pocket — yes ma’am, you will look like you got a tidy eight hours sleep with this little beauty.

Pop some on the inner corner of your eyes (along with concealer under your eyes), and you’re a new woman.

3. GREAT EYEBROWS ARE LIFE.

Seriously, people that don’t nurture their eyebrows ... these are the frames for your face.

Give them the respect that they deserve.

Find a wonderful eyebrow person and let your lovely brows take their shape — the next challenge will be learning how to fill them!

4. FIND YOUR HAIRDRESSER SOULMATE.

When you see someone with great hair, ask them who does their hair, because it is an absolute mission to find the perfect hairdresser and when you find them — hold them close.

They don’t come easily, or often! The women (and men) that you see wandering around with fabulous hair clearly have a great hairdresser, and they’re usually full of fantastic tips — don’t be afraid to ask them.

5. ALWAYS TREAT YOURSELF.

Go to the spa.

Get the maincure, get the pedicure, or the facial — no one ever regretted it.

You, above anyone else, deserves to be treated every once in a while — the saying ‘your body is your temple’ stands for a reason.
