LOCATED about 37km west of Toowoomba, near Jondaryan on the Warrego Highway is the productive irrigation property Durham Park.

Consisting of 198.4ha or (490 acres) the property contains 400 acres (161.9ha) of black to chocolate soil cultivation.

The stand-out feature is the irrigation on the property comprising of a groundwater allocation of 200ML with three equipped irrigation bores all interconnected.

In addition there is an allocation from Oakey Creek with a nominal volume of 72ML.

Water is pumped via 200mm pvc to 2 x 5 span Zimmatic Centre Pivots down the centre of the property, in all, there are 4.5 circles which are used to irrigate crops like lucerne, grain and cereal crops, cotton and now in the area astute operations are realising that this area is ideally suited to the growing of small crops.

In addition to the centre pivots there are spray lines to irrigate the lucerne.

In addition to the irrigation there is a domestic electric bore and a pump on Oakey Creek for water for the garden and livestock.
