Let your hair down and enjoy another sublime line-up at The Heritage Bank Live Concert Series, which is part of the Toowoomba Carnival of Flowers 2017.

The concert series is held in conjunctio­n with the Ergon Energy Food and Wine Festival.

ALEXY LAHEY

ALEX Lahey hocked her beloved 1999 blue Corolla to pay for the recording of her debut EP.

Most recently Lahey has set the music industry abuzz with the insanely catchy You Don’t Think You Like People Like Me.

A founding member of avant poppers Animaux, multi-instrument­alist Lahey has now gone solo and pared down her sound, embracing a simple, home-spun story-telling style that’s often underlined by her second love, the fuzz pedal.

THE PAPER KITES

ONE of Australia’s best-loved live acts, this five-piece Melbourne band will woo you with its pre-dawn lyrics and lush, late night melodies from the band’s second album twelve four.

The Paper Kites’ sound was originally loosely based around folk music.

The progressio­n of this sound, along with the band’s many musical inspiratio­ns, has pushed it into a range of different genres.

THE TEMPER TRAP

THE Temper Trap is an Australian indie rock band formed in 2005.

The band released its debut album Conditions in June 2009, their self-titled second album in 2012 and Thick as Thieves in 2016.
