Schools get top report card

- Steve.etwell@thechronicle.com.au

ONE of Toowoomba’s big attractions for new and intending residents is our tremendous educational opportunity.

We have a wide variety of state, private and independent schools throughout the region.

It would be fair to say that the majority are at the top of the educational ladder.

So it comes as no surprise that several schools rated in an online portal have been given an A+ rating.

The site shows what the region thinks of its schools and teachers.

Ratemyteachers.com allows users to rate teachers at schools across Toowoomba from 1-5.

The numbers online suggest mums and dads are pleased with the education providers the region has to offer.

Interestingly, five of the top six schools are state schools.

Top of the heap for this survey was Fairholme College.

This is by no means a definitive survey but it confirms what we all know about our schools - they are top rate by any measure.

BIBLE THOUGHT

“And there fell on men a great hail out of heaven, every stone about the weight of a talent: and men blasphemed God because of the plague of the hail; for the plague thereof was exceeding great.” (Revelation 16:21 AKJV)

God’s judgment is real and it is coming. Come to Jesus and be saved before it is too late.
