The Garden City is home to thousands of passionate gardeners who work year-round transforming their private gardens into stunning floral showpieces.

2. The Chronicle Exhibition Gardens WHEN: Today and tomorrow WHERE: Toowoomba region
CELEBRATE the pure love of flowers, gardening and all things horticultural.
The specially selected gardens are chosen because they are unique and creative and deserve a show of their own.

3. Distinguished Gentleman’s Ride WHEN: Tomorrow, 9am WHERE: Toowoomba Showgrounds
TENS of thousands of distinguished gentlefolk in hundreds of cities worldwide will sit astride their classic and vintage styled motorcycles to raise funds and awareness for men’s health, specifically prostate cancer and men's mental health.
The Toowoomba ride is happening tomorrow and will roughly cover 30km.
Participants meet at the DMCSC headquarters at Toowoomba Showgrounds from 9am for photos, followed by the rider briefing at 10am and then the ride afterwards.

4. Carnival of Trains Model Railway Open House WHEN: Today and tomorrow, 10am to 4pm WHERE: Toowoomba Showgrounds
MODEL railway fans can enjoy the fun at the Toowoomba Model Railway Club’s Carnival of Flowers open house event.
There will be fun for all of the family, a children’s “U” drive layout, colouring in, video screenings, operating layouts in Z, N, HO and OO scales, the Model Railway Museum.
There will also be pre-loved model railway items for sale.
Admission is by a gold coin donation.
5. Cobb and Co Museum’s Feature Artisan WHEN: Tomorrow, 10am to 2pm

6. Walking Tour Hidden Laneways WHEN: Today and tomorrow WHERE: Various locations
THIS weekend is not just about gardens.
Experience Toowoomba’s history, street art, architecture and laneways culture with a series of walking tours on today and tomorrow.
Tours include Toowoomba Rail History (including the air raid shelter) today at 10am, Toowoomba’s Architectural Heritage tomorrow at 10am starting at the Empire Theatre and the Hidden Laneways tour exploring Toowoomba’s street art, architecture and lanes tomorrow at 2pm from the Heritage Bank in the Bell Street Mall.

7. Miniature steam train and model T bus rides
WHEN: Tomorrow, 9.30am to 2.30pm
WHERE: Highfields Pioneer Village
COME and ride Myrtle May the Miniature Steam Train at
the Highfields Pioneer Village and visit the garden which won first prize in The Chronicle's Waterwise Garden section.
There will be billy tea and damper, drinks and ice-blocks available and a sausage sizzle at lunch time.
Join in the fun with a Whip Cracking School at 1pm or Period Costume photo shoot at 1.30pm.
The Bundaberg Youth Orchestra performs at 10.30am.

8. Hanging Basket Display
WHEN: Today and tomorrow WHERE: Cobb and Co Museum
SURROUND yourself with a spectacular display of 60 hanging baskets in the Museum show ring created by community members as part of design competition.
This year's display is set to delight visitors with
categories from floral arrangements to artisan creations.
9. Cabarlah markets WHEN: Tomorrow 7.30am to 12.30pm
WHERE: Cabarlah Sports Ground
ENJOY a lovely spring morning at the Cabarlah Market tomorrow.
Popular food outlets will be operating and musical entertainment will be presented by Doug Martin.

10. Carnival markets WHEN: Today and tomorrow WHERE: Various locations
CELEBRATE the last day of the Toowoomba Carnival of Flowers by enjoying a day at the markets.
The Original Mix Markets are on at the Kwong Sang Laneway from 9am to 3pm today, the Queens Park Markets are on at Frogs Hollow from 9am to 1pm and the Toowoomba Farmers Markets is on today at Walton Stores from 7am to 11am.
