Business sets up new shop in Toowoomba CBD
TOOWOOMBA family-owned business Integral Mobile Bookkeeping has celebrated its new shopfront in the CBD.
Principal Trevor McDougall said it was formally opened by Minister for Employment and Industrial Relations Grace Grace last week.
Mr McDougall said the business started about six years ago from scratch and now employed three registered BAS agents and now they had a physical shop were able to employ an administration officer.
“This new role was created with the assistance of the state Back to Work employer incentive,” Mr McDougall said.
“The assistance has proved to be a real success story for this initiative that has resulted not only in the employment of our new staff member but the expansion of our business as a whole.”
Mr McDougall explained the current trend in the industry was to outsource tasks like data entry and payroll offshore.
“We, however, have decided to go the other way and employ local staff who are trained in Australian GST legislation and are familiar with Australian Fair Work and Industrial Relations law,” he said.
“This is a more expensive avenue from our end but is offset by a much higher quality result and, hopefully, a larger client base.”
Integral Mobile Bookkeeping specialises in cloud-based accounting solutions and add-ons that gives it the ability to assist any client in Australia, as long as they have internet access.
