LADIES BOWLS

The Pennants season has come to an end with some great bowls played over the four weeks. The final results are: Division 1 (Blue) winners were West Toowoomba. Division 2 (Red) winners were Toowoomba.

Final scores were: Division 1 West Toowoomba 8 points +65: South Toowoomba 6 points +0: North Toowoomba 4 points -56. Division 2 Toowoomba 14 points +79: Drayton 10 points +106: West Toowoomba 8 points +31: North Toowoomba 8 points -83: Gatton 0 points -106. Congratulations to both winners. Good luck to West Toowoomba which goes on to the State Pennant Finals to be played on November 4-5 at Tweed Heads.

SOUTH TOOWOOMBA

Congratulations to the Pennants teams. Unfortunately we didn’t win the flag but put up a really good fight. Thank you to all the ladies who made themselves available to play. Also thank you to Trevor Sendall who filled in as our team manager. Nominations for Champion of Champion Singles and Champion of Champion Pairs are open and close on October 14. Play from October 28. Sheets on board. Nominations are open for the Mixed Pairs which will be played on October 15 and 22. Nomination sheet is on the men’s board.

The notice of motion put forward at the AGM was carried so the constitution will be changed to allow ladies to nominate for board positions.

TOOWOOMBA
