THE Last 5 Years is a play written by Jason Robert Brown, giving an intimate window into a couple’s doomed marriage.

Cathy, a struggling actress, and Jamie, a budding novelist on the brink of wild success, are 20-somethings in New York who meet, fall in love, marry and divorce over the span of five years.

2. Hutchinson Builders Toowoomba Internatio­nal

TOOWOOMBA FX FJ Holdens Inc will host its swap meet tomorrow and 32nd Annual All Holden Day Car Show on Sunday.

The car show is one of the largest Holden only car shows staged in Queensland.

It attracts about 250

entrants from Toowoomba and outside the region.

The swap meet will be held from 6am to noon and the Holden day will be held from 6am. 4. Margaret St Markets WHEN: Tomorrow WHERE: Margaret St

THE quality markets provide everything from local handmade and speciality goods to food and entertainm­ent.

While visiting the markets, you can also check out businesses open in the CBD.

The markets run from 8am to 1pm and are held in Margaret St, between Ruthven and Neil Sts.

5. Spring Race Day

THIS Sunday’s Spring Race Day at Clifford Park will feature the Pat O’Shea Plate. Gates open at 11am and the day will feature racing from

noon, the NRL Grand Final on the big screen after the races and race-goers can make their own pizza for just $5.

THE Western Rivers Cup 2017 is southern Queensland’s largest Indigenous cricket carnival.

The event celebrates sport, culture and community.

It will include Queensland Cricket activities and face painting on Saturday, as well as food and drink and cricket games both days from 8.30am.

7. Lights on the Hill

WHEN: Today and tomorrow WHERE: Gatton

THE Lights on the Hill Memorial Convoy weekend is dedicated to members of the transport industry who never made it home.

Dual convoys will leave front Withcott and Bundamba at 10am today and converge on the Gatton Showground­s. There will be live entertainm­ent, kids’ rides, market stalls, trade stalls and more.

Tomorrow at 10am is the memorial service at Lake Apex, Gatton before a return to the showground­s to watch the NRL grand final and more live entertainm­ent.

8. JB’s Cabaret

WHEN: Today WHERE: Rumours Internatio­nal

THE Chapter III guys are at it again, preparing to bring the third JB’s Cabaret concert to Toowoomba.

Back by popular demand, the band will return to the stage tonight as part of the JB’s Cabaret: With a little help from our friends.

Guest will be treated to performanc­es by Sir Jeffrey’s People, Don Duffus, Frank Klassen and Des Patch. Part proceeds from the concert go to the Toowoomba Hospital Foundation.

WHEN: Today

WHERE: Arthur Shooter Park, Oakey

JOIN the friendly crew from Oakey parkrun to launch the free run.

The 5km walk or run will be held weekly from today at Arthur Shooter Park, Stanley St at Oakey.

The launch will be held from 7am to 8am.

10. NRL Grand Final

HEAD down to your local pub to watch the Melbourne Storm take on the North Queensland Cowboys.
