1. Lost Trades Fair

WHEN: Saturday and Sunday, 10am to 4pm

WHERE: Cobb and Co Museum

COBB AND Co Museum will open its workshop doors, giving visitors a chance to step back in time and be captivated by rare, forgotten and unusual trades at the Lost Trades Fair.

The fair showcases incredibly skilled artisans and tradespeop­le and celebrates the many crafts and trades that have been lost to history.

The cost for adults for a one-day pass is $15, juniors (five to 15 years) $5, pensioners $10 and family (two adults and up to four children aged five to 15 years) is $35.

SEE the ITF Futures profession­al tour’s semi-finals and finals stages this weekend at the Hutchinson Builders Toowoomba Tennis Internatio­nal event.

Spectators can watch some of the rising profession­al tennis players in Australia.

Entry for spectators is free. 3. The Holy Name Primary School Art Show Fun Day WHEN: Saturday, noon to 5pm

WHERE: Holy Name Primary School

HAVE heaps of fun at the Holy Name Primary School Art Show Fun Day.

Entry is free and residents can enjoy a jumping castle, super slide, animal zoo, face

painting, dancing performanc­es, free children’s activities and more.

Artwork will be judged by local artist Anna Bartlett.

4. Under Pressure WHEN: Saturday and Sunday, 10am to 2pm

WHERE: Toowoomba Art Society

UNDER Pressure is the latest exhibition by the Toowoomba Art Society’s Printmaker­s group.

The exhibition officially opens this weekend (tomorrow at 2pm), so come down to the gallery and see the fantastic works that are on display.

5. Country music afternoon

WHEN: Sunday, 1pm WHERE: Trinity Lutheran Church Hall in Hume St

COUNTRY entertaine­r and yodeller Leisa Bye will entertain residents at the Garden City County Music Associatio­n’s second last event for 2017.

Entry is $8 with afternoon

tea provided plus there will be lucky door prizes and raffles on the day.

6. Paddock To Potager

WHEN: Saturday, 9.30am WHERE: 176 Merritts Creek Road, Pechey

PADDOCK to Potager, a pasturised pork farm just outside Hampton, invites residents to visit the country style on-farm shop A Gourmet Collective and experience the ambience over home-made mulberry cake and coffee or scones and Devonshire tea.

Afterwards, at 11am, go on a farm tour and walk with the pigs in the paddock.

Local wares from Toowoomba Farmers’ Market and our Pastured Pork sold on-farm.

7. Toowoomba Farmers' Market WHEN: Saturday, 8am to noon

WHERE: Walton Stores FIND a buzzing community

of local makers, bakers, growers and live music at the Toowoomba Farmers’ Markets.

There will be ready-to-eat food, fine coffee, face painting and an area to sit and enjoy family and friends.

8. Emergency Services Day WHEN: Saturday, 10am - 2pm WHERE: Queens Park, cnr Margaret and Hume Sts

AN Emergency Services Day will be held in Queens Park to showcase the wonderful work emergency services do.

There will be informatio­n stalls, emergency vehicles, historical fire truck and ambulance, a LifeFlight helicopter display and more.

9. Millmerran Museum open day WHEN: Sunday, 10am to 3pm WHERE: Millmerran Museum, Charlotte St, Millmerran

CHECK out what’s on display at the Millmerran Museum this weekend.

There will be a wide range of displays and demonstrat­ors showing their wonderful talents, including Nancy Sayers with her beautifull­y dressed miniature dolls, the Toowoomba Ukulele Group and local blacksmith Sam Crumblin.

There will also be a barbecue and cold drinks to purchase. 10. Queensland Pops Orchestra Broadway and Beyond WHEN: Sunday, 2.30pm

WHERE: Empire Theatre

THIS delightful and versatile orchestra has been treading the Broadway stage for more than a quarter of a century, bringing to life the cream of Broadway musical theatre in a visual and musical spectacula­r – unsurpasse­d in its quality and variety.

From Fair Lady to Phantom to Lanza to Lloyd-Webber, the Pops has done them all.
