Plenty for farmers to learn about at the 2017 ProAg field days

-

PROAG field days is the jewel in the crown for the NSW Mid North Coast agricultural area.

It’s the ideal platform for producers and manufacturers to interact directly with consumers and potential buyers.

This year, more than 100 agricultural and general interest companies will be represented on site to demonstrate new releases, innovative farming practices and to field any questions from the 10,000-plus visitors.

Advanced Farm Systems will be releasing the new WaterSaver, which will cut off power to the pump and hence water supply to a house if it detects a leak anywhere in the supply line.

The WaterSaver can be retro-fitted to any existing electric water pump.

Visitors will see the new range of livestock pregnancy scanners and detectors and the new BioBrew fresh living multi-strain probiotics for dogs and cats for the ultimate in gut health.

EZ Machinery manufactures a variety of equipment for agricultural and vegetation management industries and are 100% Australian made.

They specialise in customising products to suit clients’ requirements from hydraulic flail mulchers, stump grinders, compost turners and water carts to semi automated bagging machines and accessories like load-out conveyors and hungry boards.

Hardwood Mills and Norwood Sawmills will be displaying their new portable band saw sawmills.

Visitors can watch them demonstrate daily the milling of Australian hardwood into slabs and dimensional timber.
