He said he was excited to welcome residents to the store and lend a helping hand in the community.

“Team members have supported a number of community groups already, including a special project with the Cancer Council to rejuvenate the gardens and public spaces at Olive McMahon Lodge, which offers accommodation to families supporting their loved ones undergoing cancer treatment,” he said.

“The team also installed two buddy benches and a sensory garden for students at Toowoomba North State School to enjoy.”

“Bunnings has been part of the Toowoomba region for more than 16 years and we are excited to continue supporting local community groups through hands on projects in the future.”

Several of the new team members were also qualified tradespeople with skills in plumbing, machinery and horticulture and would be on hand to provide local residents with expert advice for their D.I.Y. projects.

Bunnings Warehouse Toowoomba North will provide ongoing support to local community groups to raise funds for a variety of causes by hosting the famous Bunnings Sausage Sizzles.

Local customers will enjoy the convenience of the widest range of home improvement and outdoor living products backed by the best service.
