Dalby properties generates new interest

-

DALBY is cementing its reputation as a vibrant and commercially appealing town for businesses and investors alike.

In recent months there has been a resurgence in commercial real estate interest and investment in the Western Downs town.

Raine and Horne Commercial Toowoomba’s Nick Koenig said business owners and investors alike were showing they had confidence in the Dalby economy with a number of new deals signed.

This includes two new retail businesses which have signed leases in the town’s CBD.

Mr Koenig said this included a state-wide discount retailer, which had taken a three-year tenancy at 127 Cunningham St.

The business has signed a lease for a 660sq m tenancy, which the landlord has extensively refurbished.

The refurbishment included new concrete floor, ceiling, paint and male and female amenities.

“The tenancy has ducted air-conditioning and rear lane access for stock deliveries,” he said.

The second business is a computer sales and service company.

“The Brisbane company saw an opportunity to service Dalby and district with computing needs,” Mr Koenig said.

“They have leased 80sq m at 106 Cunningham St; this tenancy is also air-conditioned and the landlord had repainted it.”

Mr Koenig said he also had an industrial property under offer for a 10-year lease and purchase offers on a couple of other commercial properties at the moment.

“There is confidence in the town showing that Dalby is a vibrant sustainable regional town.”
