-

HIGHLY-respected commercial property specialist Markus Eames has returned to the Toowoomba market, strengthening LJ Hooker Commercial’s full-service offering.

After a 12 month-stint in Brisbane, where he established a multi-national commercial agency’s Queensland Investment Sales team, Mr Eames returns to Toowoomba.

LJ Hooker Commercial Toowoomba principal Mike Stewart welcomed Mr Eames to the agency.

“Markus is one of Toowoomba’s and the wider Downs’ leading commercial property specialists, with extensive knowledge and connections throughout the area,” Mr Stewart said.

“He has widespread background in investment sales, and he’ll continue to offer that specialisation at LJ Hooker Commercial, but his expertise will be utilised across all sectors and service offerings.

“Bringing with him almost two decades of commercial property experience in the area, Markus’s appointment re-affirms LJ Hooker Commercial as the region’s most experienced commercial property agency.”

Mr Eames has been behind several of Toowoomba’s major transactions including Officeworks Toowoomba, The Bank Building, The Chronicle, Coffee Club Downtown and more.

Mr Eames said: “I’m excited to be back in Toowoomba and it feels like the commercial market is going from strength to strength; especially the investment market”.

“Toowoomba has become so much more accessible for investors, and with a population exceeding 160,000, a diversified economy and infrastructure headed by the Wellcamp Airport, (investment) risk in the city has reduced significantly.

“My recent time in Brisbane, leading a team specialising in branded commercial investments state-wide, has further developed my connections throughout Queensland. I’m looking forward to working with clients to not just divest and augment their investment portfolios, but to also set new records for commercial values.”

Also joining the team is Mr Eames’ long-term assistant Tarla Brennan, who likewise has numerous connections and knowledge of the Toowoomba market.
