and admitted filching souvenirs from the Batcave for his nine-year-old son.

“We spent a lot of time on set together,” he said. “I’ve got massive ADD and I can’t sit still, I gotta go do something.”

Gadot said she would laugh to herself at the sight of the group in their superhero costumes and they got musical during downtime.

“We have a band. (Jason) did the drums, I did the drums. We did some singing. Ben did the Bruce voice,” she joked.

Justice League is the latest blockbuster from Warner’s Brother’s “Extended Universe” and has been a decade in the making. A version was originally slated to be directed by Mad Max’s George Miller and filmed in Sydney with Megan Gale as Wonder Woman before the Hollywood writer’s strike, Christopher Nolan’s successful Batman movies and a stoush with the Australian Government over incentives.

At the time, Miller slammed the government over the decision to refuse a rebate to producers, saying: “A once-in-a-lifetime opportunity for the Australian film industry is being frittered away because of very lazy thinking.”

The final incarnation was directed by Zach Snyder (300, Sucker Punch, Batman vs. Superman) but finished by Joss Whedon, who was originally hired as a scriptwriter, after Snyder stepped down to deal with the death of his daughter in May this year. Plans for Wonder Woman 2 are under way, while a stand-alone Aquaman film recently wrapped filming on the Gold Coast.

Momoa said he found living Down Under “amazing” while shooting, despite missing being 45 seconds from the Batman ride on the Warner Brothers lot.

“I got to live on the beach, jump in the water and go to work, he said. “I love Australia, I used to live there for three years in the Barossa so I had a ball. My children were down there and the studios were amazing so it’s a perfect place to shoot it.”

For Affleck, who at 45 is the patriarch of the newly-formed crew, Justice League was a new challenge for “loner” Bruce Wayne whose superpower is his wealth.

“He’s thrust into the role of having to not only work with people but bring them together and convince them to come in. To try to be some kind of a gel with Wonder Woman to hold all that community effort together and that was a really interesting thing to play for me.”
