Driftwood tests human limits

-

ROLL up, roll up, and help kick off Artsworx’s highly anticipated 2018 season launch.

The evening will start with drinks and canapes in the courtyard, and a short overview of what audiences can expect from our 2018 season of events, from theatre to music, film, art and workshops.

Then, the audience will be treated to a night with the internationally renowned Casus Circus’ as they present their thrilling new work Driftwood, for the first time in Toowoomba, presented by Visual Focus.

Driftwood tests human limits, showcasing a combination of mesmerising acrobatics, aerial stunts and elegant, lyrical choreography.

Driftwood will have you holding your breath as you witness a series of impossible feats, pulled off with breathtaking skill and unbelievable ease.

There are two shows available, 6.30pm on November 22 after the Artsworx season launch, and on November 23.

Tickets are $35 for adults and $24 for children under 12.

There will also be a free workshop held at USQ Artsworx on November 23 for those who want to tour the world as an artist.

You can meet the cast of the show and hear about the worthy, wicked and wondrous life of an independent artist and learn what it is to take a risk on your own abilities, pull an audience and trek the world to make a living.

The workshop will be held from 3pm to 4pm.
