Results of 2017-18 intraclub matches played on Saturday, November were 11: Open Pairs - Kerry Lovell and Chrys Robins def John Fowler and Rob Mortimer; Open Singles - Alan Richardson def Brett Case; B Singles - Bevan Wingett def Mick Chandler; C Singles - Andrew Tabor def Lachlan Barnes. 2017-18 intraclub matches called for Saturday, November 18 are: Open Rinks - Alan Richardson, Bill Kruger, Peter Coman and Ian Prodger vs Tony Collins, Trevor Gillies, Peter Best and Lachlan Barnes; Open Singles - Ray Weis vs Don Collins, John Fowler vs Roger Brashaw, Kerry Lovell vs Dennis Russell. Sunday, November 12 Rick Zeller and Co sponsored day resulted in a win for Bill Kruger, Brian Gleeson and Pat Williams, and grabbing runners-up were Bevan Wingett, Bill Perry and Vince Vaz. Many thanks to Rick for providing the prize-money for his inaugural event - much appreciated indeed. Don’t forget that our Tuesday Nights Under Lights community bowls is on every Tuesday evening until November 28 with bowls commencing at 6.30pm and wrapping up by about 8pm. Hamburgers are available from 6pm onward, with complimentary continuous coffee and tea on hand until we close. Green fees are $5 each and the juicy burgers are priced the same. Winners prizes are drawn out-of-the-hat, so everybody’s a chance to take home something special. Come along, bring a friend, or make up a triples team and visit us on a Tuesday night soon.
