Low cost with low upkeep

-

LYLE and Clare Cherry have decided to sell their property

Pinegrove, just 28km southeast of Roma with Carnarvon Highway frontage.

Pinegrove is 313.7ha (775 acres) in one freehold title, and is 100% white on the vegetation map.

On undulating red loam country, the majority of the block has been cleared and stick raked with about 220 acres blade ploughed in 2016.

The blade ploughed country was seeded to silk sorghum and improved pastures, with the balance of the country being predominately buffel grass, which is well established and has a dense coverage.

The country was originally timbered with belah, kurrajong and wilga and a small ironbark ridge currently has scattered timber to provide shade.

The water is supplied by three dams which are considered very safe and

make for an easy management style.

Suitably fenced for the size of the property, Pinegrove is subdivided into five paddocks.

The majority of the fencing is in good condition, being a mixture of four and five wire construction with three or four barbs.

Improvements on the property include a three-room cottage, enclosed steel shed, steel cattle yards and a gravel pit.

Located close to Roma with all-weather access, Pinegrove is offered as a low-cost and low-maintenance style property.
