We’re spoilt for choice when it comes to dessert
TOOWOOMBA residents are spoilt for choice when it comes to dining out for dessert.
In the past two months two new dessert bars have opened in Toowoomba. The Moose and Max Brenner have joined Cioccolato, Gelatissimo and Nitrogenie.
Many other restaurants in town also offer a range of desserts, so it can be hard to decide what to eat.
If you aren’t sure where to go for a sweet treat at night The Chronicle has you covered.
Max Brenner
Sweet banana praline crepes
Max Brenner is know for its delicious milk, dark and white chocolate desserts.
Its famous sweet icons include the tutti-frutti waffles, fondue for two and the chocolate pizza with a crunch.
But have you tried the sweet banana praline crepes served with ice cream?
They not only look amazing but customers can’t stop raving about them.
The Moose
Doughnut cups
The Moose is the perfect mixture between a dessert and cocktail bar. Even the cocktails are dessert-inspired.
Its latest creation is sending residents nuts. Just this week it introduced doughnut cups.
It consists of doughnuts with customer’s choice of chocolate, mix-ins and then its topped with cream.
Cioccolato
Sundae waffle cone Cioccolato has recently started offering deliveries which means you can indulge in all things sweet from the comfort of your own home.
But the warm weather is calling out for waffle cones.
Customers can order a sundae in a waffle cone. Try a cone filled with ice cream and topped with chocolate, strawberries and chocolate chunks.
Nitrogenie
Waffle cone
The only thing that could
make an ice cream from Nitrogenie better is adding a waffle stick.
Get creative with your flavour of ice cream and then add a freshly made
waffle drizzled in chocolate and anything else you can think of - options range from
cookies and cream to caramel popcorn.
Gelatissimo
Red velvet gelato Gelatissimo introduced its newest flavour this month red velvet.
Any cafe wouldn’t be complete without this delicious baked good in their cabinet, and now the store has it in gelato form. It has chunks of fluffy red velvet cake folded in a cream cheese gelato.
