Clifford Park on track to break December record

-

RACING: Clifford Park is on track to record its busiest and most successful December in years.

Record function bookings and racing events is behind the boost, welcomed by Toowoomba Turf Club Chief Executive Officer Blair Odgers.

“It’s never been busier at Clifford Park. It’s terrific to see so many local businesses and groups getting together and celebrating the festive season at the races. The club is posting record numbers of guests in our function spaces.”

Odgers said the club’s upcoming December race day events, part of the UBET Summer Racing series, had gained excellent traction locally.

“The Toowoomba Outdoor Power Products Christmas at Clifford Park is very exciting – real live reindeer, Santa, snow, face painting, live music – a night not to be missed. It’s getting toward that time of the year where it’s all about family getting together and Clifford Park want to provide a fun, family-oriented night out,” he said.

“This will be followed by our first-ever Ambassador Travel Members’ Appreciation Day on Saturday, December 16 – a racing event where TTC Members are the stars of the show. We have invested heavily in this event for our members including a three-night New Zealand South Island racing holiday to give away.

Christmas Eve Eve (December 23) will also feature great entertainment, including the front lawn being turned into an “island oasis” with live music, deck chairs and a relaxing summer atmosphere.

“We can’t forget New Year’s Eve – this year featuring The Australian INXS Show – it’s all the great INXS, Aussie rock songs you know to sing along with to bring in the New Year,” Odgers said.

Tickets for the Australian INXS show are on sale now at www.cliffordpark.com.au.
