Retaining mobility options through NDIS
HAVING operated under the name Walk on Wheels for a decade, this registered NDIS supplier is now sporting a fresh change, renaming to Wheel or Walk? — while still offering the same great services.
Wheel or Walk? offers affordable payment solutions for comfort, rehabilitation, home health equipment and mobility aid with new and quality second-hand mobility and ex-rental equipment.
They also offer an exclusive 10 per cent deposit finance option, so you won’t be out of pocket.
Wheel or Walk? caters to those who can’t travel, offering a delivery and in-home demonstration service.
Manager of Wheel or Walk? Lauren Antonenko believes that mobility products and the NDIS are working excellently in conjunction.
“Each week, we are approached by more and more clients who are looking for ways to improve their quality of life through the NDIS,” Ms Antonenko said.
“The introduction of the scheme has enabled our organisation to provide specialised equipment to those who may not have previously had a choice in where their mobility aids would come from.”
Wheel or Walk? services Ipswich to Somerset, Lockyer, Scenic Rim, Toowoomba and Brisbane Council boundaries.
“With the rollout of the NDIS and an ageing population, mobility products have become an important part of everyday life for many people,” Ms Antonenko said.
“Retaining mobility plays an integral role in living independently and assistive equipment such a mobility scooters often provide an accessible, functional and cost-effective way of maintaining mobility and community access.
“The focus of the award-winning small business has always been on the customer and the expert team wants to ensure that it continues to remain responsive to its customers’ needs by delivering a diverse range of quality service and products at an affordable price point.”
To celebrate the new name, Wheel or Walk? will be running a series of promotions and one-off sales events in the lead-up to Christmas — these will be showcasing their extensive new range of exciting and innovative products.
Wheel or Walk? is located at 4/160 Brisbane Rd, Booval.
