Quest on top for service
Co-franchisee thanks team for efforts
THE co-franchisees of a fire-damaged Toowoomba CBD hotel have dedicated an industry award to the team working behind the scenes to get the award-winning complex re-opened.
Quest Toowoomba co-franchisees Jenny and Tony O’Reilly were inducted into the Quest Apartments Hotels Hall of Fame at a recent awards ceremony.
In accepting the award, Mrs O’Reilly acknowledged co-franchisee Cynthia Rice and front office manager Angela Fowler’s work at the Margaret St apartment hotel since it opened in July, 2015.
“Cynthia and Angela have been working tirelessly with our key stakeholders to restore Quest Toowoomba to the high standard that our guests had come to expect since being damaged by a neighbouring business fire in June this year,” she said.
“We look forward to confirming the re-opening date for Quest Toowoomba in early 2018 very soon.”
The O’Reillys are also co-franchisees of Quest Breakfast Creek in Brisbane and have been involved with the parent company for the past 15 years.
They were recognised for guest service standards, business performance and for demonstrating company values.
“Mr and Mrs O’Reilly have shown unwavering dedication to upholding the Quest values to deliver the best possible experience to our valued guests,” Quest chairman Paul Constantinou said.
“Our people are the biggest asset, and Mr and Mrs O’Reilly perfectly demonstrate the strength of our team.”
Mrs O’Reilly said she was humbled to receive the recognition, and thanked Quest for taking a chance on her and her husband “all those years ago”.
