Green light for new complex

-

SUNSHINE Coast Council has granted development approval for a 19-unit complex to be erected at 12 Kelly Ct Landsborough, in a small “medium-impact-industry” zoned industrial precinct located just off the Steve Irwin Way.

Agents Luca Reynolds of Ray White Commercial and Glen Grimish of CBRE have been appointed exclusive marketing and selling agents for the project, offering units starting at 102sq m in size, currently priced from $184,000 plus GST.

“The Kelly Ct subdivision has been developed by a local syndicate, who have already sold several development-ready lots in the precinct,” Mr Grimish said.

“Business operators who have purchased here have been able to fully appreciate the many advantages of this location, not the least of which is the favourable base land price.

“Showing faith and confidence in this locality, the developer will be building this strata-titled unit complex themselves.

“The developer is proposing a tasteful and practical construction with excellent signage profile to Steve Irwin Way.”

Units will feature eight-metre high concrete tilt-slab walls with 4.8-metre-high electric roller-doors. Each unit will have internal amenities including shower facilities and a kitchenette.

“As the Sunshine Coast community continues to naturally grow around key regional centres such as Beerwah and Maleny, more and more industrial unit complexes of this type will spring up, because the people who live in these areas will prefer not to travel long distances to get to and from their business premises,” Mr Reynolds said.
