“It’s a huge coup having UBET coverage for our day,” Collins said.

“The meeting is the only stand-alone grass-track harness meeting in Queensland annually, and has gained a strong following.

“This will only serve to enhance it. This gives punters and the general public the opportunity to be a part of the day if they aren’t attending.

“There’s a lot of interest in

this meeting from far and wide, so it’s a real positive.”

Collins said the meeting would be streamed online for the first time.

“The live stream has been

set up with PSP video,” he said.

“Tony Barletta and his family take care of vision in the region. They’re big supporters of the club,

“It’s significant because it creates the opportunity for everyone to be involved that is interested in the day,” he said.

“It’s the next best thing to

having Sky Channel coverage.

“Ben Hall, the vice president of the club and an aspiring caller, will be doing mounting yard coverage for

the day.

“This is unprecedented, and is the first time to my knowledge anyone has done something like this.”
