Toowoomba chamber presents business journal

-

THIS month chamber proudly presents its first edition of The Business Journal, a bi-annual publication that shines a light on the Toowoomba business community, showcasing some wonderful local businesses and discussing some of the challenges and opportunities at hand.

The Business Journal (Vol. 1) is available in hard copy and electronically. You can pick up your hard copy from the chamber office or go to our website to download the electronic version.

It was great to catch up with many of you at our final Business @ Dusk for 2017 hosted by Heritage Bank last week.

Business @ Dusk is a great way to get to learn about your local business community better, build your networks and promote your own business. This event is made possible through the support of the University of Southern Queensland and held at a different host business each month.

Business @ Dusk is consistently well attended with 100 to 150 business representatives turning out on any given occasion. There are only a couple of months not yet locked in for Business @ Dusk next year – so if you are interested in your business hosting the event, please contact us ASAP.

It is hard to believe we are quickly arriving at the end of another year. It is great to look back on the year and some of the great events and outcomes achieved by the Toowoomba Chamber of Commerce on behalf of its members.

It is equally as exciting to be thinking about the year to come and we have an action-packed year planned for our members in 2018. We will be kicking off in January with Business @ Dusk hosted by USQ on Wednesday, January 24, and with the commencement of the Building Better Business Workshop Series providing businesses with opportunity to fine tune their business management skills to become more profitable.
