Info night a big boost for all anglers

FISHING: Newcomers and experience­d anglers alike have the chance to learn about the latest “fish finding” technology at an open night in Toowoomba this week.

The informatio­n session will be held in the Fish ‘N’ Bits Alderley St carpark, from 6pm tomorrow night.

Guest speakers at the Fish ‘N’ Bits Lowrance night include territory manager for Navico Australia Kenneth Thompson and Digital Marine business acquisitio­ns manager Daniel Rodriguez.

Kris George from Fish ‘N’ Bits said the rapid developmen­t in marine sounder technology will be outlined to anglers of all levels.

“Lowrance have some really great new products being released soon and this informatio­n night is an ideal opportunit­y for people to be brought up to date with the latest innovation­s,” George said.

“They are not just designed for the big boys. Beginners and occasional anglers will be surprised what is now available to people at all levels.

“It is surprising just how easy these units are to use and how inexpensiv­e people might find them.

“It’s also a great chance to come along and speak first hand with the industry leaders in marine sounder technology.”

A sausage sizzle, drinks, giveaways and prizes will be on offer during the evening.
