UBET brings a fresh new look to Newtown Shopping Centre

-

THE impressive rejuvenation of the Newtown Shopping Centre continues with UBET unveiling a newly renovated agency at the rear of the complex.

UBET Downs and South West Queensland regional manager Mark Johnson said the revamp was a strong commitment by the betting company to punters in the region.

In a world driven by advanced mobile technology, Mr Johnson said there was still a lot of benefit from conventional bricks and mortar and providing a comfortable and welcoming meeting place for anyone keen to place a wager.

"Not everyone has turned to digital yet, so we still see a definite need for an inviting and modern area for punters to visit – whether male or female.

"That’s why we like the shopping centre and its central location, which offers convenience and a familiar setting for patrons who have been past customers of ours.

"They like what they’re used to and I know they’re going to be impressed with the improvements we’ve made," he said.

"With state-of-the-art televisions, sound systems and cash self-service terminals, we can provide a very enjoyable atmosphere for our customers.

"One of the big attractions is parking and the centre delivers plenty of spaces for our visitors and the other tenants."

Newtown Shopping Centre owners Brendan and Damien Coonan understand the importance of keeping up with the times and have worked hard to modernise the centre.

"We have worked to upgrade the appearance with new paintwork and rendering and have refreshed a number of the shops and shopfronts (where possible with tenants in place)," Brendan said.

"We have a lot of residents living around the area, with some great schools nearby, so this centre plays a very important role in a lot of people’s lives. It’s an integral part of the Newtown community and we are very keen to ensure it always presents at its best.

"With an important anchor tenant like UBET on board, it gives us confidence that we’re providing an attractive environment for potential tenants to set up business."

With two shops currently available for rent, anyone looking to lease in the centre should contact Damien on 0439 771 571.
